SCHEDULE OF TYPE TEST OF JAMMU BASED CANDIDATES OF ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE NO. 02 OF 2017 (Jr Assistants of School Education department) - FIRST BATCH


» The TYPE-TEST for the FIRST BATCH of Jammu Based candidates on Computer Key
Board who have applied for the posts of Jr Assistants (Education Department), pursuance to
advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2017 shall be conducted w.e.f. 14th of December 2017 onwards
at NIELIT, Jammu (formerly DOEACC, an Institution Under Ministry of Comm. & IT, Govt of
India), University Campus, Jammu as per the candidates/items schedule annexed at Annexure
“A” of this notice.

» Candidates who are scheduled in the first batch are required to download their Admit Cards
from our website (www.jkssb.nic.in) from 9th December, 2017, onwards.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants who are willing to apply for these posts in School Education Department should fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions:

For Junior Assistant:

1. Candidate is required to be graduated from any recognized university with knowledge of type writing having not less than 35 words speed per minute and six months certificate course in computer from a recognized institute. 2. It is further clarified that graduation herein means graduation having minimum three years duration obtained after Senior Secondary School. Further, those candidates possessing 05 year’s Integrated PG degree after Sr. Secondary School are also eligible to apply. 3. It is further clarified that candidate having degrees like BCA, BCS, BCM, BE/B.Tech (computer/ IT), MCA, MCS, MCM, BSc (IT), MSc (IT), ME/M.Tech (computer/ IT) or BSc (with computer as a subject) are not required to possess the six months certificate course in computer from a recognized institute. 4. There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit obtained in type test (having 60 points weightage) and a multiple choice based written test (having 40 points weightage). 5. There shall be negative marking in Multiple Choice Based written test. 6. Candidates will have to necessarily obtain type speed of atleast 35 words with accuracy of atleast 90% to be eligible for selection. 7. Any other clarification, if needed, will be given subsequently.

For Laboratory Assistant:

1. Candidate is required to be 10+2 with science or equivalent from any
recognized University/Board.
2. There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be
selected on the basis of merit obtained in the multiple choice based
written test, having negative marking for wrong answers.
3. Any other clarification, if needed, will be given subsequently.

For Library Assistant:

1. Candidate is required to be graduated from any recognized University
with degree/diploma in Library Science.
2. It is further clarified that graduation herein means graduation having
minimum three years duration obtained after Senior Secondary
School. Further, those candidates possessing 05 year’s Integrated PG
degree after Sr. Secondary School are also eligible to apply.
3. There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be
selected on the basis of merit obtained in the multiple choice based
written test, having negative marking for wrong answers.
4. Any other clarification, if needed, will be given subsequently.

For Junior Librarian:

1. Candidate is required to have Bachelor’s degree in Library Science
from a recognized University.
2. There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be
selected on the basis of merit obtained in the multiple choice based
written test, having negative marking for wrong answers.
3. Any other clarification, if needed, will be given subsequently.
