UPSC CDS (II) 2017 Exam Overview:
UPSC CDS (II) 2017 Exam Notification has been released on 9th August 2017. This examination is said to be conducted on 19th November 2017. All the aspiring candidates can apply from 9th August to 8th September and UPSC CDS II Application Form can be availed from the official website of UPSC. This examination is conducted to recruit officers in Army, Navy, Airforce. It is primarily organized by UPSC for the recruitment of officers. This exam is conducted twice in a year. This dream job in defense is aspired by many across the country. The students who qualify the written examination will be further called for the selection process. The selection process is a two stage process i.e., Written test and the SSB Interview. The SSB Interview consists of two tests i.e. Psychological Test and Intelligence Test. CDS 2017 Application Fee:
The CDS II Application Fee is Rs. 200 for all candidates except female, SC, and ST candidates because they are exempted from application fee. Candidates can pay application fee by depositing the money in any SBI Branch by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, SBBJ (State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur)/ SBH (State Bank of Hyderabad)/ SBM (State Bank of Mysore)/ SBM (State Bank of Patiala) /State Bank of Travancore or by using Credit OR Debit Card.

UPSC CDS 2017 Selection Procedure:
A huge number of benefits and allowances are given to the army personnel. The pay scale of the military men starts from 15000/- rupees per month with many extra benefits. The officer is also provided with a house and a personal car. It is a national level examination conducted by the UPSC and also considered among the toughest exams of India. CDS-II 2017 online exam has following three stages:

After the completion of the Pre-written examination, UPSC CDS I Result 2017 has already been declared on 17th March. CDS (II) Exam will be conducted in the month of October, and the result will be displayed after a gap of two to three months.
