UPSC announces recruitment for various selection posts; check important dates, procedure here... {2017}

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently released the recruitment notification announcing the dates and process to apply for various selective posts on its official website – www.upsc.gov.in.






The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently released the recruitment notification announcing the dates and process to apply for various selective posts on its official website – www.upsc.gov.in

According to a report by Hindustan Times, vacancy for as many as 41 posts have been made open and aspirants can fill up the online recruitment application (ORA) in order to be eligible for posts including 27 specialist Grade III (Microbiology) in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare department; 10 Economic Officer in Niti Aayog; 1 Economic Officer in Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare 1 Superintending Epigraphist in Ministry of Culture; 1 Junior Interpreter each for Chinese and Japanese in Ministry of External Affairs department.

The report also stated that the deadline for submission of ORA through its website has been given till September 14 till 11.59 pm, while the last date for printing of submitted online application is September 15 until 11.59 pm. Candidates can apply only online on the ORA website i.e. – www.upsconline.nic.in.

After the online submitting process gets over, the UPSC department will shortlist suitable candidates and will separately inform them on the interview dates. The shortlisted candidates will have to carry the hard copy of their online application along with other documents.

All the applicants are suggested to fill in their particulars in the online recruitment form carefully as submission of any wrong information may lead to rejection through computer based shortlisting apart from debarment by the commission.

It is also to be noted that candidates will be eligible to get the benefit of community reservation only in case the particular caste to which the candidates belong is included in the list of reserved communities issued by the Government of India.

All candidates must go through the advertisement for the post carefully before applying and check basic criteria including eligibility conditions, application process and other important details of the service.
