INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING ON-LINE RE-EVALUATION FORM
1. The submission of online re-evaluation form/s shall be closed after the last prescribed date for filling the forms. Fee once deposited shall not be refunded except as per instruction 8 below. In the case of online fee Transaction fees/Service charges charged would not be refunded/reversed for any refund or reversal or chargeback transaction. Transaction fees charged would be borne by the applicant/student for any payment
2. The fee should be deposited in all the designated branches of J&K Bank or by online payment gateway through net-banking, credit/debit card.
3. The candidates whose result is kept withheld on account of Disputed Eligibility, shall be eligible to submit the Prescribed application form within the Statutory period only. Therefore, such candidates should get the formalities completed for setting disputed eligibility immediately so as to avail of the opportunity for reevaluation.
4. The candidates, whose result is declared late under ‘Later-on’ Category, shall be requested to deposit their Re-evaluation form, if they so desire, within 10 days of the date of declaration of the concerned result, University office at Jammu, if the due date has expired.
5. All candidates shall have to deposit the hard copy of the re-evaluation form along-with a self-attested copy of the marks-certificate and a self-addressed envelope, within two days after the deposit of fee, either in the University at Window No. 1 of the Examination Block or with Muffasil Colleges/s. However, candidates residing outside the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu can send the hard copy of the form along-with above documents through registered/speed post to the Controller of Examination, the University of Jammu-181006 within two days after the deposit of the fee in the Bank.
In case any candidate does not get the marks certificate within seven days from the date of declaration of the result he/she should contact the Examination section of the University of Jammu. No application form shall be entertained after the prescribed date on the plea of non-receipt of result/marks certificate. Re-evaluation form will not be accepted without the prescribed fee.
6. I. Re-Evaluation will be done by the independent examiner. The final result after
re-evaluation shall be the best of the two scores obtained by the student after
re-evaluation / original evaluation.
II. The candidate has to accept the Re-evaluation result as final and irrevocable whether
FAVOURABLE or UNFAVOURABLE and no further re-evaluation shall be allowed.
7. Candidates having failed or placed under re-appear category who intend to apply for re-evaluation are advised in their own interest, to submit also permission – cum – admission form for subsequent examination simultaneously so as to obviate the risk of losing a chance of examination, pending declaration of re-evaluation result, which can be unfavorable also.
8. If the University is unable to get the answer scripts of any candidate re-evaluated due to the loss of the same in transit or otherwise, the candidate shall be entitled only to the following relief.
Refund of full fee paid by him/her for the re-evaluation of the concerned answer script/s.
OR
Re-examination in the concerned paper/s without payment of fee at the time of subsequent examination provided a written request is made by the candidate for the said purpose.
