Counseling notice for admission to Sociology, University of Jammu:

It is notified for all the eligible candidates [with Sociology and other allied subjects excluding Science, Commerce, Home Science, BBA, LL.B) who have applied for the M.A. Sociology Course during the current Section i.e. 2017-18 under the 2nd Phase with a lower JUET score as per the Notification issued by DAA vide No. DAA/17 /2974-3014 dated 03.08.20L7, that they should report to the office of the Head, Department of Sociology along with the copy of the Online Admission Form as per the following counseling schedule for some of the vacant seats in Ramnagar / Reasi campus. The candidates who- would be selected after the counseling are hereby informed to bring Original Documents along with Demand Draft amounting to Rs.7070/-payable at Jammu in favor of Head, Department of Sociology, University of Jammu, Jammu as admission as well as examination fee by 4.00 p.m. on both the dates:- 

• Reporting Time: 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
• Counselling Time:  2.00 p.m.

Date / Day:17.8.2017 (Thursday)
Composite score (with Sociology): 58 to 45
Composite score (with Allied): 59 to 50 

Date / Day: 18.08.2017 (Friday)
Composite score (with Sociology): 45 to 38
Composite score (with Allied): 50 to 35 

NOTE:- The candidates who have already submitted their online admission forms also need to report in the Department of Sociology, University of  Jammu as per the schedule has given above.
